BIO
Sandra Martinez PhD, B.S., B.A,
My fascination with the field of naturopathic medicine originated when I was 24 years old. I was suffering from skin allergies when I was young that was miracle disappearance after a day in the sulfur baths. Later in life I then had a digestive issues and terrible anxiety. I sought the help of various specialists. None of these doctors were able to “figure me out” and I was ultimately told that I would have to learn to live with it. Upon my first visit with my Homeopathic doctor I learned that the source of my issues where help with a simple remedy of a natural supplement.
This experience led to my interest in health sciences. I attended a local community college, then went off to Clayton College of alternative health, transferred to Kingdom College of alternative medicine where I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Alternative Medical Sciences. I continued my studies with a PhD in Complimentary Medicine focus on Immunology. Later due to the laws in the alternative health field changed and I had to revisit a Bachelor degree from a regionally accredited college in the West coast. So ten years later here I am fully invested in seeing true healing come to each person I work with.
Recognizing the uniqueness of every individual, my focus is on a personalized approach to healthcare. I utilize western and eastern botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, homeopathy, Lymphatic drainage treatments, lifestyle counseling, and detoxification programs to help facilitate optimal health. Over the years I have also completed additional training in Neuro-Emotional Therapy, and Nutrition Response Testing (Applied Kinesiology).
